The restaurant (round the other side) offers Catalan cooking with some traditional dishes, meat from the grill, lasagne, some fish. The food quality is high but it is not elaborate and can best be described as home cooking with plenty of traditional catalan dishes hidden in the menu. Staff are friendly, the kitchen is in view and is very efficient. We have eaten there on several occasions during September. Also there are plenty of drinks by the glass or carafe to accompany them. There is an extensive menue of "Tapas" from Kebabs to squid rings, burgers, cold ham salads etc. The food is Spanish with what are described as Tapas (some are really half rationes) and pancakes and ice creams. Llagut català(catalan gondola): enjoy this traditional sport n the Fluvià river, a great way to build group spirit and strengthen the relationships between those taking part. Paddle surf or SUP:another way to enjoy sport and nature as a family is to take part in a course or an activity in the sea or the river. K ayaks: Kayak trips along the coast or down the Fluvià river, with the option of trying ornitho-kayak, where you will discover the local flora and fauna. The route offers a variety of paths and trails that lead you through apple orchards, along the beach or simply down the course of the Fluvià as far as the river mouth, a route on which to enjoy this protected natural area. Nature Route:walk or cycle, a peaceful way to discover Sant Pere Pescador. Guided tours: take part with the family in one of the tours organised by the Tourist Office, where you will discover our history and natural environment. Enjoy the signposted routes, views and observation platforms with the family and take part in any of the family tours and exhibitions organised by the Park. Here, the whole family can enjoy the warm water, practice water sports such as windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and kitesurfing, or have a go at zumba in a class organised on the beach.Īt sunset, take a walk through the old town of Sant Pere Pescador to discover the remains of the medieval wall that once surrounded the village, the Casa Caramany and Plaça Major square where you can enjoy a concert or al fresco dinner. In the afternoon, head to Sant Pere Pescador beach, with its shallow waters and fine sand, which is ideal for families thanks to the quality of landscape within a protected natural environment. You can walk or cycle the route, it is signposted and has viewpoints where you can stop for a rest, enjoy the landscape and take photographs.Īfter lunch, take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool at the campsite or hotel, get involved in some of the activities organised by the entertainment club or play in the children's water parks.
